The Alumni Cell, headed by Asst. Prof. Ravi Bitla, organised a get-together of alumni of previous years by organising an Alumni Meet on 31st July 2017. It was presided over by Principal, Dr. G. S. Shikhare, attended by faculty members and a score of alumni of the college. Swayam Siddhi Mitra Sangh’s Managing Trustee CA Parag Khandekar was the Chief Guest of the day.
Prof. Bitla delivered the welcome speech at 9:30 am, kickstarting the session. Having welcomed the Chief Guest, he informed the alumni about the importance of the session, adding that he is planning to create a forum for all alumni and students so that frequent interaction and mentorship can be possible.
Principal Dr. G. S. Shikhare addressed the meet, congratulating all those gathered on being a part of this congregation and extended his full support for all meetings to come.
A few Alumni spoke on this occasion, sharing their experiences, giving their views and showing readiness to provide guidance to students as and when required through this forum.
Concluding the meet, Asst. Prof. Uzma Momin gave the vote of thanks. Snacks and tea was served in the end.

The Alumni Cell, headed by Asst. Prof. Ravi Bitla, organised an Alumni Meet in Room 301, inviting alumni to guide and mentor students. Prof. Bitla welcomed all students and alumni in his speech and the floor was opened for discussion at 10:00 am.
While interacting with current students, they made a point about good infrastructure available for students today as compared to earlier times. Very useful tips were given by these alumni to students, which the latter agreed would definitely have an impact on their life. This programme was attended by 250 students.
Information about NAAC process and important role of alumni in the accreditation process was also given by IQAC Coordinator CA Ujwal Dokania. He gave information about current happenings and development in the college. Principal Dr. G. S. Shikhare addressed the meet, asking alumni to come forward with suggestions and continuous guidance so as to enable institutional growth. Refreshment arrangements were made by the college after the meeting.
Vote Of Thanks was given by IQAC Coordinator Asst. Prof. CA Ujwal Dokania, thus concluding the meet.
